It seems Arsenal are day by day edging closer to signing Liverpool and Uruguay striker Luis Suarez. According to reports in the metro, Liverpool have already lined up potential replacement for the erratic striker who they have seemingly resigned to losing come January. According to metro, one of the strikers Liverpool are eyeing as a direct replace for Luis Suarez is Real Madrid’s youngster Alvaro Morata.
Alvaro Morata was thought to be on his way to Tottenham in the summer in part exchange for Gareth Bale but he was made to stay at Real Madrid. However, few months later, the path of the Spain under 21 striker to the first team of Real Madrid is been blocked by the summer purchase of Isco and Gareth Bale by Real Madrid and as such he is considering leaving the Spanish capital club with Liverpool a likely destination.
It is believed Liverpool want a quick deal done to prepare themselves for the bidding war that is expected for Suarez in January with Arsenal reportedly the most interested club as Real Madrid who also want the Uruguayan have ruled themselves out of a move for him due to their financial crisis.
If Liverpool gets Morata or any other replacement, it is thought a bid of at least 50 million from Arsenal or any other club will compel them into selling Suarez.
